A hand-crafted New Zealand Pounamu form pendant. This pendant has great detail in the jade and has a bowl-like form to it, showcasing different elements of the jade. Hand-crafted by Nick Balme.

Complete with an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord, it also includes a traditional woven presentation case and a detailed description of the meaning of the carving.

The Toki is the adze blade was bound onto a wooden handle and used to carve the great canoes and details on the meeting houses.   It represents a creative or artistic person and the coming together of head, hand and heart.
