Kerry & Amanda Thompson

Kerry Thompson - Master CarverKerry is a master of traditional bone jade and mixed media wearable art.
He is one of New Zealand's best known and most skilled carvers with an unmistakable style that speaks of the deep respect he has for his craft, his culture and his tribe.
Amanda is also a highly accomplished and skilled carver so these two make the ideal pair.

Once each piece sells it will be removed from our site permanently

Please Note
- Some examples of jade in this section show the carvings with a degree of back lighting to illustrate their luminosity.
This is how they look when held up to a light so they may appear a darker shade of green when held in the hand or worn against the skin.
- Stained carvings should not be worn in the shower or while swimming as hot and salt water in particular will fade the stain.

All carvings are supplied complete with a traditional style cord & bag.
Most cords are hand made from black waxed braid with a loop and bone toggle fitted. A woven flax presentation case and information on the meaning of the design is also included.
